Thursday’s Jam of The Day: Mama Cass

Cass Elliot, otherwise known as Mama Cass was a soloist singer songwriter and most famously the founding member of The Mamas and The papas, a historically famous band of the late 60’s folk rock movement. I thought that today I would pay tribute to the booming and soulful voice of Mama Cass Elliot, a woman who never saw her full potential as she died suddenly at the young age of 32, of sudden heart failure.  “California Earthquake and “Dream a Little Dream of Me” off her solo album, Dream a Little Dream are incredible examples of the power of  Mama Cass Elliot.
